Found by James in the top 10 ‘Reasons to be cheerful’ of JFK Magazine (#32, March 2012).
Recently we were invited to give a presentation on ‘Creativity’ at the Dutch HQ of Sogeti. These ‘Sterke Verhalen’ lectures, given by professionals outside the daily business of Sogeti, are organized to inspire their consultants.
We choose ‘Creavitivity & Sampling’ as the theme for our presentation, since giving a twist to the familiar is part of our strategy.
It turned out to be an interesting and fruitful evening for us, but the audience was definitely entertained as well. We saw happy faces during the presentation and received appreciation through the evaluation forms. A small selection of examples we used (from inspiring artist, other agencies and ourselves) you can find below.
Thanks to Remko Spaan.

In collaboration with Iksi we’ve upgraded the webshop / online gallery Found by James. Due to these adjustments Found by James is capable to grow to the design platform it slowly seems to become.
Now the homepage shows all James’ activities. In the header you can filter the features by Shop, Notes and Interviews. Places is added as well; on this page all the content of the site is categorized by city or location.
We are very happy with the new and improved FoundbyJames.com. Hope you’ll also enjoy it. Spread the word!
PS. Check out the interview James recently had with ‘typologist’ Julien Renault from Brussels and the Press release is updated as well.
SAY 100 caught up with James and asked him to tell more about where he finds his coolest stuff, the most popular things he sells - and who’s in his top 10 for independent design publishers. Check the interview here.
